Integrating with SCOM to view performance data

The integration with Microsoft's System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) allows organizations to import performance data into TrueSight Infrastructure Management. Using the adapter, you can import the SCOM Managed object types into TrueSight Infrastructure Management and periodically auto-sync the performance data collected by their associated performance rules into the TrueSight Infrastructure Management database.

• The SCOM adapter communicates with the SCOM Server using the Microsoft-provided C# libraries.
• The C# API uses the Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) technology.
• The Microsoft WCF technology uses Kerberos or SSL (NTLM) for security authentication.
