Defining a time frame for blackout policies
Create a time frame to specify the time period for the blackout policy to be active.

Property | Description |

Name | Name of the time frame |
Description | A brief description about the time frame |
Start Time | Start time for the time frame. The value must be in the 24-hour format. For example, 10:55; 13:30. |
End Time/Duration | End time or duration for the time frame. You have the following options:
Important: Time frames based on start and end times cannot span across midnight. Hence, in this case, you must specify the duration. For example, if you want a weekly time frame that starts at 6:00 P.M. on Saturday night and ends at 6:00 A.M. Sunday morning, create a time frame with the following properties: Recurrence Pattern: Weekly (Saturday) Start Time:18:00 Duration: 12:00 |

To define a time frame
- Log on to the TrueSight console.
- In the navigation pane, expand Configuration and select Infrastructure Time Frames.
- In the Infrastructure Time Frames page, click Create Time Frame.
- Specify the time frame properties.
- Click Save.
To modify an existing time frame
- Log on to the TrueSight console.
- In the navigation pane, expand Configuration and select Infrastructure Time Frames.
- In the Infrastructure Time Frames page, for the time frame to be modified, click the Time frame action menu and select Edit.
- Modify the time frame properties.
- Click Save.
