Changing the pass-phrase on the private key  file

To change the pass-phrase, enter the following commands:

$ \pw\ApacheGroup\Apache\bin rsa -des3 -in server.key -out server.key.new
$ mv server.key.new server.key 

You are asked twice for a PEM pass-phrase. At the first prompt, enter the old pass-phrase and at the second prompt enter the new pass-phrase.

 

 

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
