Introducing the operator console
This topic explains about the operator console, how to access and navigate the Operations Console, and the tasks that you can perform using the various panes of the Operations Console.
The tasks that you can perform are as follows:
- Access the operations console (see Accessing-the-Operations-Console)
- Choose the console type (see Choosing-the-console-type)
- Navigate the Operations Console (see Navigating-the-Operations-Console)

To log on to the Operations Console faster, select the Disable NetBIOS over TCP/IP option on the WINS tab of the Advanced TCP/IP Setting dialog box (Control Panel > Network and Sharing Center > Change adapter settings > Properties > Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) > Properties > Advanced).
Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
