Multiple integration instances


There are multiple instances that you need to consider from the integrations perspective in IBRSD and derive a solution depending on the load on the integration. Some of the instances are:

  • Common IBRSD instance integrated with BMC Remedy Service Desk. All the cells should communicate with the common integration instance.
  • Multiple or individual IBRSD instances connected to corresponding cells will work without causing issues.
  • You can achieve load-balancing using multiple IBRSD integration instances and cell rules. For more information, see the IBRSD User Guide.

Note

If a service model is distributed across multiple servers, and there are shadow CIs involved in the service model, IBRSD does not support creating intelligent incidents for shadow CIs.
