Integrating BMC Cloud Lifecycle Management with Infrastructure Management after installing


This section describes the procedure to integrate BMC Cloud Lifecycle Management with Infrastructure Management using the pw FullCloudOpsSupport -a <adapter> command.

The command performs the following actions:

  • Sets the value for the parameter isCloudDeployment to true
  • Restarts the jserver
  • Restarts the rate
  • Restarts the Integration Service (Infrastructure Management remote agent)

To integrate BMC Cloud Lifecycle Management with Infrastructure Management

  1. Run the command on the Central Server:

    pw FullCloudOpsSupport -a <adapter> -pms <CLM Platform Manager Protocol> -pmh <CLM Platform Manager host> -pmt <CLM Platform Manager Port> -pmu <CLM Platform Manager User Name> -pmp <CLM Platform Manager Password> -bcs <BPPM Central Protocol> -bch <BPPM Central Host> -bct <BPPM Central Port>

    <CLM Platform Manager Protocol> is the Cloud Lifecycle Management Platform Manager protocol (default http, if not specified)
     <CLM Platform Manager host> is the Cloud Lifecycle Management Platform Manager host
     <CLM Platform Manager Port> is the Cloud Lifecycle Management Platform Manager port number (default 80, if not specified)
     <CLM Platform Manager User Name> is the Cloud Lifecycle Management user name
     <CLM Platform Manager Password> is the Cloud Lifecycle Management Platform Manager password
     <BPPM Central Protocol> is the Central Server protocol (default http, if not specified)
     <BPPM Central Host> is the Central Server host name (default local host, if not specified)
     <BPPM Central Port> is the Central Server port number (default 80, if not specified)
     If the password is blank, enter "".
    pw FullCloudOpsSupport -a CLM -pms http -pmh vw-pun-sms-qa04 -pmt 8080 -pmu csm_admin -pmp password -bcs http -bch <bppm-host-name> -bct 80

  2. Run the pw configwsroles command from the Child Server.
     For more information on the pw configwsroles command, see pw-configwsroles.
