Configuring a grid

After the BMC Atrium Orchestrator platform is installed and running, configure a grid. You will use the grid to distribute information across all BMC Atrium Orchestrator components.

To configure a grid

  1. Start a web browser and log on to Grid Manager by using  http:// <hostName> or IPaddress:port_ //baocdp.
    hostName is the name or IP address of the computer where the CDP is installed. The default port is 8080. If necessary, replace 8080 with the HTTP port number that you chose during the platform installation. You can check before launching the URL whether the default port or HTTP port is still available.
  2. Log on to Grid Manager by using the user name and password created in Access Manager. The default logon is admin, and the default password is admin123.
  3. Click Manage > Grids.
  4. Click the add icon (+ ) to add a new grid.
  5. Enter the name and description.
  6. Click OK.
