Installing the Infrastructure Management administrator console on remote computers

This section provides information about installing and starting the Infrastructure Management administrator console. The administrator console is automatically installed with the BMC TrueSight Infrastructure Management Server. However, you can also install it on a remote computer.

Warning

An instance of the Administration Console is installed on the BMC TrueSight Infrastructure Management Server by default, however BMC recommends to install on a computer separate from the BMC TrueSight Presentation or Infrastructure Management Server. It is possible to run different versions of the Administration Console on a separate computer. You must not try to run more than one version of the Console on any BMC TrueSight Presentation or Infrastructure Management servers.
