Stopping the BMC TrueSight Infrastructure Management Server

The installation process automatically starts the BMC TrueSight Infrastructure Management Server. If you want to stop the BMC TrueSight Infrastructure Management Server, follow the procedure appropriate for your operating system.

To stop the BMC TrueSight Infrastructure Management Server on Microsoft Windows

  1.  From the system icon tray, right-click the Infrastructure Management iconnewicon.bmp
  2. Select Server Stop.

To stop the BMC TrueSight Infrastructure Management Server on Solaris

  1. Access the pw CLI.
  2. Enter pw sys stop.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
