Printing log messages to the console

To print log messages to console, perform the following steps:

  1. Open the pserver.trace file, located in the installationDirectory/pw/server/etc directory.
  2. Remove the # character from the log4j.rootLogger=WARN, F line.
  3. Save and close the file.

    Return the # character when switching back to daemon mode (UNIX) or service mode (Windows). Otherwise, the pserver.out can grow very large under installationDirectory/pw/server/tmp/psName, where
    • installationDirectory is the directory where you installed the BMC TrueSight Infrastructure Management Server.
    • psName is the name of the publishing server.

 

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
