mswitchbit


The mswitchbit command can be used to switch between 32-bit cell binary and 64-bit cell binary. This script is located in the installationDirectory/pw/server/bin directory and is named mswitchbit.cmd on Windows and mswitchbit on UNIX.

  • To switch from 64-bit cell binary to 32-bit cell binary, run the following command:

    mswitchbit 32
  • To switch from 32-bit cell binary to 64-bit cell binary, run the following command:

    mswitchbit 64
  • To obtain the complete usage report of mswitchbit command, run the following command:

    mswitchbit -h

Note

  • Before running the mswitchbit command, you must shutdown all mcell and msend applications that are running.
  • After running the mswitchbit command, you must start the cell.
