Importing dynamic enrichment source

Before a dynamic enrichment policy can take effect, the data in the dynamic enrichment source file must be imported.

Before you begin

If you are importing a file that contains more than 500 entries, before you begin the import procedure, change the import_method_new parameter to true in the installationDirectory\admin\etc\ix.properties file and restart the administration console.

To import dynamic enrichment source

1. Ensure that the policy is enabled.

2. Select Import tab.
   The Import tab is displayed as shown in the following figure.

   The following table describes the uneditable fields of the Import tab. These fields are for your information only.

   Field	Description
   Data File	Path to the enrichment data source
   File Format	Type of file used by the policy
   Last Action	Last time an import (replace or merge) was completed.

3. In the field opposite the Import button, select whether you want to Replace the existing data in the cell or Merge new data with existing data in the cell.
4. Click Import.
   The data is imported from the file into the cell.
5. Verify that the information has been uploaded by ensuring that the Last Action information in the Import tab shows a completed upload message.
