Anatomy of a status computation model
A status computation model defines the following information:
- The algorithm used by each of the functions involved in status computation
- A no-alert status value that applies only when the consolidate_function returns NONE. The no-alert status is acceptable for all the default status computation functions.
- A quorum percentage that applies only when the impact_function uses the QUORUM algorithm
- An external algorithm that applies only when the impact_function uses the EXTERNAL placeholder
