Exporting events

Events received in the cell can be exported to a flat file that resides on the same computer as the cell. The exported events then can be used in third-party products for archiving and data mining. Also, they can be exported to a program on another computer by using a gateway.

To export events, you configure the statbld.conf and gateway.export files.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
