Administering events
Event administration includes the following tasks:
- Defining threshold values that determine when events are generated
- Filtering the event rule list
- Defining and updating basic, advanced, and other event types
- Eliminating duplicate events and limiting the number of events that are generated and sent
- Using variables to compose and customize event text to be incorporated into email messages
