Restoring original SSL certificates for BMC TrueSight Infrastructure Management Server

As a consequence of the upgrade, your SSL certificates are overwritten by the new certificates. After the upgrade is complete, you must manually copy your backup copy of the original SSL server certificates from the older 9.0 conf folder at:

  • (Microsoft Windows) installationDirectory\BMC Software\ProactiveNet9.0\pw\pronto\conf
  • (Solaris or Linux) installationDirectory/BMC Software/ProactiveNet9.0/pw/pronto/conf

to the new conf folder at:

  • (Microsoft Windows) installationDirectory\BMC Software\ProactiveNet\pw\pronto\conf
  • (Solaris or Linux) installationDirectory/BMC Software/ProactiveNet/pw/pronto/conf

Note

The certificates are saved in the keystore files (.ks files).
