PATROL Configuration Manager

The PATROL Configuration Manager allows you to configure BMC PATROL Agents and knowledge modules (also known as monitoring solutions). The PATROL Configuration Manager can be accessed from the administration console.

The PATROL Configuration Manager performs the following tasks:

  • Manages different PATROL Agent versions on multiple hosts
  • Provides rule management features, such as basic change control, rule organization, and
     rule deployment methods

Note

You must use the PATROL Configuration Manager to configure KMs that cannot be configured through Central Monitoring Administration. See the list of monitoring solutions configurable through Central Monitoring Administration.
