Infrastructure Management mcell commands


Use the commands from the command line interface (CLI). All the cell-related CLI commands are located in installationDirectory/pw/server/bin on UNIX and installationDirectory/pw/server/bin on Microsoft Windows.

You can invoke the commands from a command prompt on Microsoft Windows, from a UNIX prompt, or from a script. A command can affect the cell, the Knowledge Base, or other files.

The following table lists all the available commands along with a brief description of the purpose of each command:

Extracts cell state files to create new state files

Merges extracted cell state files

mquery

Retrieves objects from a cell

msend

Sends an event to a cell

msetmsg

Modifies an event in a cell

msetrec

Sets the value of a global record
