Disabling failover for Infrastructure Management

If you do not want the primary node to switch to the standby node (for example, when the standby node is shut down for maintenance), you can disable failover.

You can disable the failover feature by taking the resource group of the primary node offline by using the following command:
clresourcegroup offline resource_group

For example:

clresourcegroup offline pnbmc_rg
clresourcegroup status

The following output is displayed:

=== Cluster Resource Groups ===
Group Name Node Name Suspended Status
--------- ------- ------- -----
pnbmc_rgp pacific No Offline
atlantic No Offline
