Navigating the Dynamic Data Editor


This topic discusses the components of the Dynamic Data Editor.

Dynamic Data Editor interface

 In the Dynamic Data Editor tab on the Administration tab you can view the data classes for each cell in a hierarchical tree. The Dynamic Data Editor interface allows you to view, filter, sort, and create new data instances for the data classes displayed in the navigation tree. The following graphic and table provides a description of the components of the Dynamic Data Editor interface.

Dynamic Data Editor tab

Identifies the dynamic data editor.

Cell group icon

Identifies a cell group.

Cell icon

Identifies a cell.

DATA class

Root class to which all data classes belong

DATA subclass

Data class defined as a subclass of the root class, DATA.
Data subclasses comprise the dynamic data tables in the selected cell.

Data list pane

Lists the data instances for the data class selected in the navigation tree on the left.

Data list filter icon

Allows you to filter the data list based on a slot value or a combination of slot values.

Details pane

Provides the details for the data instance selected in the data list pane above.
