Users


From the administration console, you can add users and associate them to a user group. Users can be assigned to multiple user groups. When you create a user, you must associate that user to at least one user group. Any user assigned to a user group has access to the CIs defined in that user group. If the user group has access to a CI, the users in that group have access to all devices associated to that CI.

The list of available user groups are listed in the Advanced Options > User Groups folder of the General Administration tab of the Administration Console. The User folder maintains user accounts, and allows you identify who has access to the Infrastructure Management system. The following operations are available:

  • Add User
  • Edit User
  • Delete User

The user activity on Infrastructure Management can be viewed in the access logs which are available in the following paths:

  • (Solaris or Linux) usr/pw/pronto/logs/Access.log
  • (Microsoft Windows) installationDirectory\pw\pronto\logs\Access.log
  • (Linux) usr/pw/pronto/logs/Access.log
