Browser stops responding or the performance lags

Internet Explorer (IE) hangs or lags in performance when more than two pop-up windows are opened or more than two requests are made from the same browser window.

The IE browser can run only two requests at a time. When you have more than two pop-up windows opened from the IE browser, a third pop-up window is not displayed until one of the other two completes. This also happens if there are more than two requests initiated from the same browser window. For example, if there are four frames in a window and all four frames are trying to load at the same time, a performance lag occurs.
