Important

This functionality is no longer supported from 11.3.04 version of TrueSight Infrastructure Management. If you are upgrading your existing TrueSight Infrastructure Management to version 11.3.04, use the following procedure to delete the web URL monitor instances that are pointing to the operator console.

Web URL monitor

If you are upgrading your existing TrueSight Infrastructure Management to version 11.3.04, the web URL monitor instances that are pointing to operator console may generate a false alarm. To avoid this, you must delete the web URL monitor instances manually. 

To delete the web URL monitor

On a standalone setup

  1. From the TrueSight Infrastructure ManagementAdministration Console > Administration tab, navigate to Root >Device>Server.
  2. Expand the localhost Device folder.
  3. Expand the Web URL folder.
  4. Find the web URL instance with an IP address of localhost device and right-click the instance to delete.
  5. Click Delete.
    The Confirm Deletion pop-up appears.
  6. Click OK.
    The web URL monitor instance is deleted.

On a high-availability (HA) setup

Do this on an active node:

  1. From the TrueSight Infrastructure ManagementAdministration Console >Administration tab, navigate to Root >Device>Server.
  2. Expand the Primary host Device folder.
  3. Expand the Web URL folder.
  4. Find the web URL instance with an IP address of Primary host device and right-click the instance to delete.
  5. Click Delete.
    The Confirm Deletion pop-up appears.
  6. Click OK.
    The web URL monitor instance is deleted.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
