Troubleshooting groups


This topic lists troubleshooting tips that you can use if you run into problems when using groups.

Mismatch of groups between Infrastructure Management Server and Presentation Server

Issue

If your environment contains a large number of groups, after you restart the Presentation Server, you might notice a mismatch between the number of groups displayed in the Presentation Server and Infrastructure Management Server.

Resolution

For the Infrastructure Management Servers that are registered with the Presentation Server, edit and change the Component Initialization Timeout setting to 5 minutes from the TrueSight console. For more information, see Adding and editing components
