Configuring BMC Remedy ITSM templates

Atrium Orchestrator integration is available in version 11.0.00.02 and later.

For installations requiring a custom solution, or if you want to complete the ITSM configuration, you can use the BMC Remedy ITSM Application Administration Console to create and configure a new company, create a template, or modify existing templates. For information about using the Application Administration Console, see the BMC Remedy ITSM User Guide.

Warning

BMC recommends that you back up the default templates before you modify the template values.

To configure the BMC Remedy ITSM templates

  1. From the BMC Remedy IT Service Management Application Administration Console, select Custom Configuration > Change Management System > Template > Template.
  2. Double-click Template, then select the template to modify.
  3. Click View, and then change the template values.
  4. When you have finished modifying the template, click Save.

To configure the incident templates

  1. From the BMC Remedy IT Service Management Application Administration Console, select Custom Configuration > Incident Management > Template.
  2. Double-click Template, and then select the template to modify.
  3. Click View, and then change the template values.
  4. When you have finished modifying the template, click Save.

To configure the task template

  1. From the BMC Remedy IT Service Management Application Administration Console, select Custom Configuration > Task Management System > Task Configuration > Task Template.
  2. Double-click Template, and then select the template to modify.
  3. Click View, and then, change the template values.
  4. When you have finished modifying the template, click Save.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
