pw mfdinst


The pw mfdinst command obtains the monitoring instances marked for deletion in PATROL Agents. You can run one of the following commands to display the count, list, and delete the instances from the PATROL Agents:

Usage:
pw  mfdinst  count [ <numagents> ]


The command lists the number of instances marked for deletion from top 20 PATROL Agents when <numagents> is not specified.
Where :
             <numagents>          Enter the string 'all' or a number.
                                  Enter the string 'all' to list the instances marked for deletion from all the PATROL Agents.
                                  Enter a number to list the instances marked for deletion from the specified number of PATROL Agents.


pw  mfdinst  list -patrolagentid <patrolAgentId>


The command lists the number of instances marked for deletion from a single PATROL Agent.
Where :
             -patrolagentid       is the PATROL Agent Id and must be greater than 10000.


pw  mfdinst  delete -patrolagentid <patrolAgentId> || -motypeid <montiorTypeId>

The command deletes the instances marked for deletion from a single PATROL Agent or Monitor Type.

Where :
             -patrolagentid       is the PATROL Agent Id and must be greater than 10000.
             -motypeid            is the Monitor Type Id and must be greater than 500000.


Note :Run the 'pw  mfdinst  count [ <numagents> ]' (without the single quote marks) command to get the PATROL Agent Id.
     Run the 'pw  mfdinst  list -patrolagentid <patrolAgentId>' (without the single quote marks) command to get the Monitor Type Id.

pw mfdinst count

The pw mfdinst count command lists the number of instances marked for deletion. The output is saved in the /pw/pronto/tmp/mfdinst_count.csv file.

pw  mfdinst  count [ <numagents> ]

pw mfdinst list

The pw mfdinst list command lists the number of instances marked for deletion in a single PATROL Agent. The output is saved in the /pw/pronto/tmp/mfdinst_list.csv file.

Note: Run the 'pw  mfdinst  count [N | -all]' (do not copy the quotes) command to get the PATROL Agent Id.

Usage:
pw  mfdinst  list -patrolagentid <patrolAgentId>

             -patrolagentid       is the PATROL Agent Id and must be greater than 10000.

pw  mfdinst  delete

The pw mfdinst delete command deletes the instances marked for deletion based on the specified PATROL Agent or Monitor Type. 

Note:

  • Run the 'pw  mfdinst  count [N | -all]' (do not copy the quotes) command to get the PATROL Agent Id.
  • Run the 'pw  mfdinst  list -patrolagentid <patrolAgentId>'  (do not copy the quotes) command to get the Monitor Type Id.
