Using SCAN IP in disaster recovery
- BMC supports only one SCAN IP address in Oracle RAC configuration. For a disaster recovery setup, BMC recommends the use of Oracle Data Guard.
When SCAN IP-1 is down, connect TrueSight Infrastructure Management to SCAN IP-2 by using the pw dbconfig set command.
