Troubleshooting the IT Data Analytics dashlet
The following issue might occur for the TrueSight IT Data Analytics dashboard on the TrueSight console.
Issue: TrueSight Server times out while obtaining TrueSight IT Data Analytics Saved Search data.
Cause: A high-volume of saved search data from TrueSight IT Data Analytics Server needs more time than the default 60 seconds timeout period.
Resolution:
- Set the refresh factor value to greater than 1 minute for the affected dashlet.
From the command-line interface, execute the following command to increase the search timeout limit
tssh properties set dashlet.itda.search.timeout <value in seconds>
For example, tssh properties set dashlet.itda.search.timeout 120
Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
