TLS considerations for IT Data Analytics

In the TrueSight IT Data Analytics environment, various components can communicate with each other in a secure manner using TLS 1.2. These components are as follows:

  • Console Server
  • Search
  • CLI client
  • Collection Station and Collection Agent

You can enable TLS 1.2 on the supported communication channels after installing IT Data Analytics. For more information, see Configuring-a-secured-connection.

For more information about enabling TLS 1.2 between TrueSight Presentation Server (or TrueSight Infrastructure Management registered with TrueSight Presentation Server) and Atrium Single Sign-On, see Configuring TrueSight Infrastructure Management to enable TLS 1.2.
