This section provides information about upgrading the BMC TrueSight IT Data Analytics (or IT Data Analytics) product from version 2.0.00 of the product.
Upgrade needs to be performed incrementally from one version to the next until the target version is reached. Skipping releases is not supported.
Note
From version 2.1.00, you can authenticate users by using either IT Data Analytics or BMC Atrium Single Sign-On 9.0. For more information, see User-authentication-options.
If you want to start using Atrium Single Sign-On as your user authentication mechanism, then after upgrading, you need to manually configure Atrium Single Sign-On in your environment by running the enablesso CLI command.

This macro generates standalone content. As a consequence you need to make sure to use a syntax that separates your macro from the content before and after it so that it's on a line by itself.
