tspsuserdetails


Use this command to update the user name and password of the Presentation Server on IT Data Analytics. The Presentation Server hosts the web-based console functions of BMC TrueSight Presentation Server. For more information, see BMC TrueSight Operations Management overview.

This command is useful in a scenario when the user name and password of the Presentation Server is changed, and because of this you are unable to search for applications while creating notifications. These applications are the ones configured on BMC TrueSight Presentation Server.

Prefix this command with the following, as appropriate:

  • For Windows: itda.bat
  • For Linux: ./itda.sh

tspsuserdetails -u <username> -w <password> -d <hostName>
-p <port> -utsps <tspsUsername> -wtsps <tspsPassword>
-tspsprofilename <tspsExtConfigName> [-v] [-s] [-l <locale>]

  • Angle brackets (< >) indicate a variable value that needs to be user defined.
  • Square brackets ([ ]) indicate optional parameters.
