Managing content packs
The Content Packs tab allows you to combine certain BMC TrueSight IT Data Analytics artifacts such as saved searches, data patterns, and collection profiles into a content pack and enable importing and exporting functions. You can export a content pack to share it with others so that they can import it onto their BMC TrueSight IT Data Analytics instance and start using it immediately.
Content packs enable:
- Customizing and reusing artifacts imported using content packs
- Saving a backup copy of important artifacts (exported) outside the product in case of system failures
