This section provides the following information about upgrading to version 11.0.00 of TrueSight IT Data Analytics (or IT Data Analytics).

Supported upgrade paths

IT Data Analytics supports direct upgrades from the latest two versions of the product. Upgrade from earlier versions of the product (earlier than version 2.5) requires that you perform a phased upgrade until your reach version 2.5 (at a minimum) as shown in the following illustration.

Upgrade and integration

Version 11.0.00 of IT Data Analytics is supported only with the following version of TrueSight Presentation Server.

  • 11.0.00

An integration with TrueSight Presentation Server actually involves an integration with TrueSight Infrastructure Management registered with TrueSight Presentation Server. For example, an integration with TrueSight Presentation Server 11.0.00 involves an integration with TrueSight Infrastructure Management 11.0.00 registered with TrueSight Presentation Server 11.0.00. Note

Before upgrading to IT Data Analytics 11.0.00, you must, first, upgrade to TrueSight Presentation Server 11.0.00. In a distributed environment, it is important to stop the services and follow the sequence of upgrading. For more information, see Upgrade sequence in a multiple-server deployment.

If you are upgrading from a previous version of IT Data Analytics, which was integrated with Atrium Single Sign-on, to IT Data Analytics 11.0.00, the custom users of Atrium Single Sign-on can be migrated to Remedy Single Sign-on using a script.
