Enhancements in version 5.2.00
The
product has been enhanced with the following new features and changes.IPv6 address notation support
Version 5.2.00 supports the capture of IPv6 traffic. You can now use IPv6 address notation for Watchpoint filters, inclusion and exclusion rules, and customs fields.
Multibyte encoding support
Version 5.2.00 supports extended character sets and right-to-left languages in captured content. You can now use extended character sets and right-to-left languages when defining Watchpoints, custom fields, regular expressions (regex), and more.
Improvements to report mail-out
An enhanced report mail-out scheduler enables more flexibility in report scheduling, customization of the mail subject, and an increase in the number of report templates that you can save.
Multiple Security accounts allowed
You can now set up multiple Security accounts to distribute them among your organization's Security officers.
Improvements to the Global Application Delivery dashboard
You can now drill down from the Global Application Delivery dashboard view to underlying performance data.
Improved baselining calculation for incident detection
The baseline calculation algorithm is now simpler and more predictable. It is less sensitive to major deviations in previously calculated boundaries. The new algorithm is turned off by default and can be turned on by the Security users.
GRE tunnel
Version 5.2.00 supports encapsulated remote span (ERSPAN). You can enable this feature by using the capturegre command of the CLI. The GRE tunnel enables you to configure a monitoring port and send it to a monitoring end point. The device acts as the GRE tunnel end point.
Ad hoc query support
You can search and drill down to access data at deeper levels for detailed root cause analysis.
