Future saturations page in the HP-UX IVM view
The HP IVM Future Saturations view displays all partitions that are projected to have CPU, memory, or file system saturation within the next 30 days. The 30 day default can be changed by modifying the 'Future Saturation – Show partitions whose forecasted days to saturation are under or equal to threshold' parameter. All values are calculated over the last full month and the current month.
The HP IVM Future Saturations tab allows you to toggle between viewing future saturation details for:
- IVMs (default)
- Hosts
For more information on viewing future saturation details for HP IVM partitions refer to the following sections.
Certain minimum amount of historical data is required to provide accurate Days to Saturation (DTS) values. Therefore, Yesterday and Last 7 days time filter selection is not applied to DTS calculation. DTS calculation is always based on last 30 days of data.
Viewing future saturation details for HP IVM partitions
The following figure shows the Future Saturations tab displaying information on IVMs filtered on all domains.

The HP IVM Partition Future Saturations table lists future saturation information for all HP IVM partitions in the selected domain. Each row corresponds to a HP IVM partition and shows the following information:

Viewing future saturation details for HP IVM hosts
The following figure shows the Future Saturations tab displaying information on Hosts filtered on all domains.

The Host Future Saturations table lists future saturation information for all HP IVM hosts in the selected domain. Each row corresponds to a HP IVM host and shows the following information:

Using data filter and other controls in tables
You can export and filter the information that is displayed in tables to suit your need. For instance, you can show or hide columns, filter tables on particular domains, and so on.
