Setting up and using the Investigate tool

Use the Investigate tool to analyze and investigate capacity and performance issues in systems. After you configure data collection for the Investigate tool, you can access it from the TrueSight console to create and launch studies with simple GUI-based steps.

Create Investigate studies to graphically represent recent data for one of more systems. You can customize the study to include specific metrics and time periods that you would like to investigate.

You can also configure uncataloged systems to collect recent data for adhoc performance analysis in the Investigate tool.
