Selecting statistics for a time forecasting scenario


This topic describes how to select statistics for a time forecasting model scenario, which is part of Adding-a-time-forecasting-model-scenario.

Warning

Notes

  • If you selected a template for the model, the template defines the statistics. In such a case, this task is not relevant, and the Statistic tab is not displayed.
  • The Statistic tab is available only in the Advanced mode.

To select statistics for a time forecasting scenario

  1. Select Workspace > All Domains > Domain > Works > Time Forecasting Model. The model details page is displayed on the right.
  2. Click Add scenario. In the Add a new scenario page, click Advanced.
  3. Click the Statistics tab and edit the properties listed in the following table:

    Property

    Description

    Statistic selection: Select the statistics from the available options.

    Select default statistics

    Selects the default statistic for that scenario.

    Select base statistics

    If you select this option, the Base statistic list is available. Select a statistic from the list.

    The Default option in this list is the same as Select default statistics.

    Select custom statistics

    If you select this option, the Custom statistic list is available. Select a statistic from the list.

    Specify a statistic for each series

    Note

    This option is available only if the time forecasting model is based on series of metrics.

    Each series in the model is listed, and the Base statistic and Custom statistic lists are available for each series in the scenario. Select the required statistic from the lists for each series.
