Defining output options for a time forecasting scenario


This topic describes how to define chart options for a time forecasting model scenario, which is part of Adding-a-time-forecasting-model-scenario.

To define output options for a time forecasting scenario

  1. On the Add a new scenario page, click Advanced.
  2. Click the Output Options tab and perform the following tasks.
  3. Show prediction bands: Select if you want prediction bands to be displayed.
  4. Show forecast only in the future: Select if you want show forecast only in the future.
  5. Show only saturated resources in results: Select if you want to only display saturated resources in results. If you select Yes, a note at the bottom of the chart informs you that only saturated resources are displayed.
  6. Group results by system or business driver: Select if you want to group the results by system and business drivers.
  7. Generate outputs chart: Select the resources for which to generate output charts:
    • For every resource
    • For none of the resources
    • Only for resources violating threshold
  8. Select output columns: Click edit icon.pngEdit to activate the selector. Under Available items, select the columns you want to display and click next icon.jpg to add them under Selected items. Click Apply. The selected output columns are listed.
  9. Max Series per Extraction/Scenario: Select one of the following:
    • Auto: The System Configuration defines the maximum number of series displayed for each scenario.
    • Value: Type the maximum number of series displayed for each scenario, and then click Apply.
