Creating an analysis
To create a new analysis using the wizard
- Access the Workspace section of the TrueSight Capacity Optimization Console.
- Select the domain for which you want to analyze data.
- Click Works to access the domain's Works folder.
- Click Add and select Add analysis from the menu.
Follow the wizard to specify the analysis properties.
- Click Finish.
The new analysis is now visible in the Works folder of the selected domain.
To create a new analysis using the quick analysis tool
The following video (2:59) illustrates the process of adding and managing time series using the quick analysis tool.
- Access the Workspace > All Domains section of the TrueSight Capacity Optimization Console.
- Perform one of the following actions:
- Locate and click the domain, system, business driver, or metric for which you want to analyze data.
- Locate the resource metric that you want to analyze, by accessing the Metrics tab in the detail page of an entity, or by using the Search tool.
- Click Quick analysis.
- Follow the procedure detailed in Using-the-quick-analysis-tool.
