Building a search index

After installing, or upgrading BMC TrueSight Capacity Optimization, you must rebuild the search index for the Search function to properly work. To rebuild the search index, do the following:

  1. Access the Console.
  2. Navigate to Administration > SYSTEM > Status.
  3. Select the Data Hub or Service Container component, and then select API Providers - Search service. The service details page is displayed.
  4. Click Rebuild main index and then Rebuild tag index.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
