Uninstalling the Capacity Agent

You can uninstall the Capacity Agent using the uninstallation script. To uninstall the Agent on a Windows system, ensure that you open the command prompt as an administrator for running the script.

To uninstall the Agent

1. Log in to the computer from where you want to uninstall the Capacity Agent.
   
   • (Windows) Log in as a user with administrator privileges.
   • (UNIX and Linux) Log in as a root user.

2. Do the following:

   • (Windows)
     
     1. Navigate to the directory where the Agent is installed. The default location is C:\Program Files\BMC Software\Patrol3
     2. At the command prompt, enter this command:
        uninstall.bat

   • (UNIX and Linux)

     1. Change to the directory where the Agent is installed. The default location is /opt/bmc/Patrol3
     2. Run the following command:

        ./uninstall.sh
        {{/code}}

     A confirmation message about successful uninstallation is displayed.
