Saving a copy of an Integration Studio project
To upload a project to the Capacity Optimization ETL Repository
You can save a copy of your project by uploading it to the Capacity Optimization Repository. To upload your project, perform the following task:
In the BMC TrueSight Capacity Optimization Repository view of the Integration Studio, click the Upload new project
icon in the view.
- In the Upload Capacity Optimization ETL project selection dialog box, select your project from the tree view, and click OK.
- In the Description dialog box that is displayed, enter an additional description (optional) for your project and click OK.
The project is now displayed in the BMC TrueSight Capacity Optimization Repository view with an automatically assigned Project ID (displayed in square brackets). This Project ID will also be displayed in the Package Explorer view to show that your local project is now being shared in the repository. All modules in the project are copied into the repository and are available for download.
To download a project from the Capacity Optimization ETL Repository
- In the BMC TrueSight Capacity Optimization Repository view of the Integration Studio, right-click the icon placed before the name of the selected project in the view.
- Select Download project.
- In the Download project dialog box, select the download location (by default it is the current workspace).
- Click OK to start the download.
When the download is complete, a copy of the project is saved to your local disk and opened in the Package Explorer view.
To add the Capacity Optimization Repository view to the Integration Studio
- From the Integration Studio menu, select Window > Show View > Other.
- From the Show View dialog box, expand the BMC TrueSight Capacity Optimization ETL node in the tree view, and select Capacity Optimization Repository.
- Click OK to add the selected view to the Integration Studio API.
The Capacity Optimization Repository view is now displayed in the left pane of your Integration Studio API, below the Package Explorer view.
