Installing capacity views

Before you can use an out-of-the-box capacity view, you must install it.

To install an out-of-the-box view

If you want to install a Storage, Hadoop, or Network view, see To install a Storage, Hadoop, or Network view.

In the TrueSight Capacity Optimization console, select Administration > System > Maintenance.
The Maintenance page is displayed, with the Additional Packages tab selected.
A table lists all the available out-of-the-box capacity views.
In the Additional Packages table, check whether the view that you want to install is already listed.
In the Additional Packages table, for the view that you want to install, click to install the view.
In Step 1 of the installation page, review the message and click Next.
In Step 2, review the details of the view package and click Proceed.
The view addon package is installed and the Maintenance page displays the details of the package.
To see the deployment details of the view, click theview deployment log icon.

Complete the following steps to install a Storage, Hadoop, or Network view:

In the TrueSight Capacity Optimization console, select Administration > System > Maintenance.
The Maintenance page is displayed, with the Additional Packages tab selected.
A table lists all the available out-of-the-box capacity views.
In the Upload patch or additional package file section, click Browse to locate and select the package file and click Upload.
Review the Step 1. Overview page content and click Next to continue.
Review the Step 2. License acceptance page and click Yes, I accept.
In Step 3. Hosts selection page, select the server on which the package is to be installed and click Proceed.
After the view is installed, it is listed in the Additional Packages table with the status as INSTALLED.
If the view installation fails, the view is added to the Additional Packages table with a WARNING status. Click the icon to inspect the deployment log.
