Settings (Preferences)


There are two types of logs available:

  • Gateway Manager Server
  • Gateway Manager Client

To view the server logs

Gateway Manager Server logs are located on the computer where the BMC TrueSight Capacity Optimization console is installed.

The logs are available at $BCO_HOME/local/manager/consoleName-GeneralManager.log

To view the client logs

You can view the Gateway Manager Client logs and specify the amount of information to be collected by specifying the logging level.

  1. Click Administration > Gateway Manager > Preferences.
  2. Click Settings.
  3. Click View Log File to view the log file.
  4. Click Low or High to change the application logging level.
  5. Click Save.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
