Starting the Maintenance Tool
This topic describes how to locate and start BMC TrueSight Capacity Optimization Maintenance Tool.
To start the Maintenance Tool
- On the computer where you installed Gateway Server, browse to the product installation directory. The default location is:
- (Microsoft Windows) C:\Program Files (x86)\BMC Software\Patrol3
- (UNIX or Linux) /opt/bmc/Patrol3
- Run the utility. It opens by default on the Logs tab.
- (Microsoft Windows) Double-click the file BPAMaintenanceTool.cmd.
- (UNIX and Linux) Type the command, ./BPAMaintenanceTool.sh and press Enter.
Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
