Sensitive information does not reach the network and is not displayed. The policy identifies method codes with confidential information and the hiding mode for the methods. For information about creating and managing confidentiality policies, see Configuring an App Visibility confidentiality policy to hide sensitive information.

Updated ciphers for App Visibility Manager for improved security

For improved security, weak ciphers were removed and stronger ciphers were added to the App Visibility Manager server components (App Visibility portal, App Visibility collector, and App Visibility proxy).

The default cipher string of the tomcat.ciphers property in the the portal.properties, collector.properties, and apm-proxy.properties files no longer include ciphers that are weaker and less secure.

Ciphers in upgraded components are not changed. For information about changing ciphers, see Enabling communication between App Visibility agents and server components.
