Enabling the SNMP service


 Before users can configure SNMP-based features, a user with the Security role must enable the SNMP service.

Note

If the the SNMP service is enabled, the following workaround is required for CentOS operating systems.

Workaroud: Open a command console and enter the following commands:

/etc/init.d/snmp-master-agent.sh stop
/etc/init.d/snmp-master-agent.sh start


To enable the SNMP service in a Real User Analyzer or Collector

  1. In the Real User Analyzer or Collector, point to Administration > Security settings, and click Services.
  2. In the Device management section, click Enable for SNMP.

Now, you can configure the SNMP settings.
