Setting the default App Visibility confidentiality policy

The default App Visibility confidentiality policy is one that is used automatically by a newly added agent. You can set any policy to be the default policy. Out of the box, all content in the default policy is commented so that you can define your own policy.

Before you begin

To perform this procedure, you must have Application Administrator-level access.

To set a default policy file

  1. From the navigation pane of the TrueSight console, select Administration > App Visibility Agent Policies and click the Confidentiality Policies tab.
  2. Click the action menu of the policy that you want to be the default, and select Set as Default.

The selected policy file is now the default confidentiality policy file. Newly added App Visibility agents will automatically use this policy.

Note

If you want to delete a non-built-in default policy, set another policy to be the default, and then you can delete the policy.
