Replacing security certificates for the Real User Analyzer or Collector

If you already have security certificates that you want to use, you can direct the BMC Real End User Experience Monitoring Software Edition Real User Analyzer or Collector components to use these certificates by modifying the values in the component's server.xml file.

To replace a security certificate

  1. Make a backup copy of the server.xml file located in the <EUEM installation directory>/<component>/apache-tomcat/conf/ directory.

  2. Open the original server.xml file in a text editor and replace the following field values:

    Field

    Value

    keystoreFile

    Enter the keystore file path and file name.

    keystorePass

    Enter the password for the keystore file.

  3. Save the file and restart the component.


 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
