Saving Performance Analysis settings for later use

When you investigate performance and availability issues in your applications, you perform analysis in the Session Overview plug-in. After you have analyzed the affected user sessions, you might want to save the analysis settings for later use, for example to check how a certain application is doing by comparing its metrics before and after the problem was solved.

To save Performance Analysis settings

  1. In the BMC Application Management Console interface, start an analysis by running a query.
  2. Click Add to Favorites.
  3. In the opened window, enter a name for an analysis setting, for example My critical app in last 24 hours.
  4. Click Save.

The system saves your analysis settings. Now you can run a query using the saved settings at any time. To view the analysis settings that you your saved, go to the Performance Analysis page and click the Favorites tab.
